All of us belong to a family…whether as a son or daughter, a mom or dad, a husband or wife, a brother or sister, a step-son or step-daughter, a grandparent or a grandchild, an adoptive parent or an adopted child. Some of us even consider individuals and groups we are close with to be our “family.” All of us belong to a family, and all of us want to belong.
God values family as the core element of the culture that He created. When you read the Bible, you’ll realize that God calls His followers His children. God highlights families in both the Old and New Testament. God compares the church to a family. He values family, and desires for His people to value it as well.
KHARIS values family…equipping each family for daily life together and growing as a church family by doing life together. And, KHARIS believes that God desires us to BE the CHURCH first and foremost within our individual families.
